    Rishikesh is a pilgrim city in Uttrakhand. It is also called as the "Yoga Capital of the World". 

    The town is a famous for various shrines and yoga ashrams. The sacred River Ganga flows through the town providing it a divine allure.


    Rishikesh is famous for white water rafting on river Ganga. September, November, March, April, May are ideal months for rafting.

    Rappelling, rock climbing, kayaking, trekking, Bungee Jumping, camping are other famous activities in Rishikesh.

    Laxman Jhoola / Laxman Jhula

    Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge over river Ganga, with a length of 450 feet and at a height of around 70 feet It was built in 1939.
